Caroline H. Little, CEO and Publisher
Caroline H. Little is chief executive officer and publisher of Washingtonpost. Newsweek Interactive. She joined WPNI as general counsel in 1997; she became senior vice president/administration and general counsel in 1999. Little was named chief operating officer in 2000 and president in early 2003.

Prior to joining WPNI, Little was deputy general counsel at U.S. News & World Report, The Atlantic Monthly, and Fast Company (1993 to 1997). Previously she had been an associate at the law firm of Arnold & Porter.

Little graduated from Wesleyan University in 1981 with a BA in English, Phi Beta Kappa, and received a JD with honors from New York University School of Law in 1986.

Little serves on the Board of Governors the DC Bar and is a member of the board of Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company and WEAVE (Women Empowered Against Violence). She is a trustee of Grinnell College.
