Stefan Poulos, Creative Director, Discovery Creative Resources
Stefan has been with Discovery Communications for 10 years and is currently creative director for Discovery Channel, U.S. His responsibilities include managing and maintaining the overall brand as well as the design and creation of national and international advertising campaigns, marketing programs and collateral pieces to include all media from print ads, outdoor, collateral, brochures, posters, exhibits, broadcast design, packaging, industrial design, web design and corporate identity as well as various other formats to support and promote Discovery Channel, its programs such as Dirty Jobs, Future Weapons, Mythbusters Planet Earth and it's sister networks.

Prior to joining Discovery, Stefan gained a wide variety of experience in packaging design from Disney and industrial design of personal watercrafts, motorcycles and electric bicycles for Yamaha and Polaris. He was one of very few designers who were hired by the renowned Charles S. Anderson at C.S.A Design in Minneapolis.

Stefan graduated from Ringling School of Art and Design in 1997 with a B.F.A. in graphic design. His foundation of drawing and painting led to a natural evolution into the enormous world of design communication.

Recognition of Stefan's contributions as a designer have been many, his enthusiasm and effective design solutions have won him numerous awards. Most recently, two of his ad campaigns were selected for inclusion in the 2006 Graphis Advertising Annual, the advertising community's premiere showcase of print ads from around the world. As any designer will tell you, he lives, eats and breathes design.
