David Wickenden is responsible for the strategic development of Fleishman-Hillard's Internet-based and digital communications services worldwide and serves as senior counselor and strategist for clients in the areas of corporate reputation, branding, positioning, and strategic communications planning.

David has more than 20 years of experience in designing, managing, and implementing large-scale integrated strategic communications programs. He has led numerous corporate positioning and branding initiatives for companies including Sprint, PBS, Bell Atlantic (Verizon), and America Online.

David's organizational branding and positioning work for non-profit organizations includes PBS, The Library of Congress, AARP, The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and the U.S. Departments of State and Homeland Security. He has led agency teams in the creation and implementation of several consumer behavior-change and public education programs, including MasterCard, the Vision Council of America, and the AOL Foundation, all of which won Silver Anvil awards.

David undertook a Fleishman-Hillard corporate assignment to establish a company vision, mission, and strategy for the development of the firm's Internet business, leading to the establishment of several interactive business operations and the creation of a global interactive practice. Fleishman-Hillard Web initiatives have won virtually every industry award including PRWeek's "New Media Site of the Year" and a Webby.
